Dan picked up his first disc in 2013 after his good friend TJ Romack introduced him to the sport. Using his very successful background in baseball, Dan quickly learned a sidearm that now rivals even for the best at the professional level. In 2016 Dan joined the PDGA and won the first ever event he attended at the Main Street Mandatory. After being down by 5 strokes after the first round, Dan persevered and learned a valuable lesson to never give up until the last putt drops. In 2017 Dan stepped up and took over as president for the Birdbrain Disc Golf Club turning it into one of the best clubs in the Chicagoland area. Week in and week out you can find Dan running leagues, tournaments, and free clinics while averaging 1000 rated golf on the side.
