Hellwood Putting League
This is what happens when the number one disc golf course in Illinois partners with the number one Haunted House in Illinois*
Beyond the dam behind hole 17’s teepad is a trail that leads to Hell’s Gate Haunted House. This haunted house is hidden deep in the woods and is a multi-level mansion filled with secret passages, giant slides, ghastly secrets, undead abominations, really nervous groundskeepers and a darkness that the gate can no longer contain!
Hellwood Putting League is played through the rooms and passageways inside Hell’s Gate Haunted House. This is a one-of-a kind league that will challenge, entertain and keep you sharp in the winter months!
There will be 18 putting stations set up throughout the haunted house, you take 3 putts at each station. Bring a minimum of 3 putters to use.
Two rounds through the course each night with a break in between.
Each putt made = 1 point.
Cash payouts at the end of every night!
Upper (900+), Lower (899-) and Women (All Ladies) divisions offered.
This is an overall points series league, meaning your points accrue every week! There will be overall trophies and prizes at the end of the league.
Concessions will be available (food, pop, beer, mixed drinks). No outside food or drink. No bags or carts allowed, bring at least 3 putters. No caddies or friends (only participants will be allowed in) No smoking of any kind indoors, there will be a designated area outside. NO DRINKING IN THE PARKING LOT. There will be specific warm up baskets available before the league starts. No entry to the course until the league begins. No haunted house actors will be on site. The temperature indoors will be around 50 degrees so plan accordingly.

Total cost is $25 per player.
When you sign up on Disc Golf Scene you will pay $10 plus Disc Golf Scene Fees to hold your spot.
When you arrive at Hellwood you will pay the remaining $15 IN CASH ONLY, there is no ATM on site!
There are 119 spots available. There will be no waitlist. DO NOT show up to Hellwood if you are not pre-registered!
Where does the money go? $10 to Hell’s Gate Haunted House, $10 to payouts, $4 to Greater Joliet Tour Season Fundraiser. $1 to Hot Putter.
What is Hot Putter? Every week we choose 6 holes, if you make all three putts at all 6 pre-determined stations you win the Hot Putter Payout. This is similar to an Ace Pot. If multiple people get hot putter it will be split, if no one gets hot putter it will roll over into the following week.
